Apply for Funding

Rolling applications are open to eligible applicants based in the wider Larne Area. Application details are below.

Applying for Brighter Futures Funding

Brighter Futures operates a rolling application programme, which means eligible applicants can apply for funding throughout the year.

The programme is designed specifically to support the Larne community, and applications are therefore limited to individuals, groups and organisations based within the wider Larne Area.

The maximum grant available is £500 per application. This funding cap allows the programme to support a greater number of projects and ensures that funding is distributed as widely and fairly as possible.

However, applications requesting different amounts may also be considered based on the overall merit of the proposal. Applicants are encouraged to request only the level of funding genuinely required to deliver their project, rather than automatically applying for the maximum amount available.

The new sensory room has significantly enhanced our SEN programme at school. It offers a safe and calming space for our students with special educational needs, helping to improve concentration and general behaviour, and to promote inclusivity.

The room also helps students by encouraging creativity and self-expression as well as supporting motor skill development and musicality.
